i loved FC (and still do!) because it was an exciting web3 project that I could access w/o crazy crypto money. i was initially stoked about @purple ā and then realized it feels just like other plutocratic DAOs where governance rights are bought, not earned. is $$ the best way for us to organize? what am i missing?

is bidding and buying an NFT the only way to become a Purple DAO member though? agree that the mission of Purple can be achieved through many different formats ā if I don't like plutocracy, nothing is stopping me from doing it differently š FWIW, still stoked about @purple and excited to be a community member

This is why Nouns introduced the Nouncil and started delegating votes to more builders. It takes time but that's how these nounish projects push for contributors to have a stronger voice and nos just whales.
