I recently bought a few books that weren't available on Kindle.

Brian Kernighan was my Intro to CS prof in college 🙃

This is very different from my experience haha.

My favorite CS prof from college applied to Google a few years after I joined and he didn't get the job 😅.

I studied in Mexico so most of my prof had no real experience outside academia.

We just put into practice some of the concepts from class.

I remember the networking class projects the most. One was a remote process manager on Linux. Another one was a remote desktop app.

For assembly the project was very basic. I wrote that and also a paint app.

The last project was a simple compiler.
