Honestly couldn’t fucking believe it when they dumped the HBO from the name. Such a strong brand it was literally the signifier of quality television series before the prestige era of cable dramas kicked off. Glad they brought it back but this is a symptom of what happens when ownership of a brand gets tossed around like a beach ball at a concert.
