Our data created the internet. So an interesting paradox about web3 data ownership is, what happens when more of our personal data is owned and protected? When we stop freely feeding the internet with that data? If more data has a sign that reads, “for sale at the right price”, what are the implications?

The Internet should continue embracing open data in web3. The main difference is that the data's producer should be able to capture much more of the value, not just the host/distributor.

Solid take. It begs the question though how that can happen at scale and in a way that is beneficial to permissionless expansion of the internet’s collective intelligence.
