Similar to Billions I like Industry. Not sure if I know of any that are similar to Halt and Catch Fire. Maybe the upcoming BlackBerry show.

Big fan of The Diplomat. Looking forward to more.

Newsroom is a good choice. I never got around to it. Do you think it still holds?

More house of cards-ish but I consider it in same realm (power players playing 5D chess) — The Diplomat was great. 

Maybe the first season or two of Yellowstone. Basically Billions, but in Montana. 

would throw Newsroom in there too.

You may like The Great. At first glance it’s a little goofy but it is actually really smart and witty. It has a lot of the backstabbing and scheming of something like billions. It’s my favorite watch right now. If you don’t like it after the first episode I would give up though.
