Likely trying out a B2B monetization strategy since B2C is harder to monetize.

Subscriptions haven't worked for them. They say they're going go try ads but that'll likely also be hard (and it's kinda funny since they kept criticizing Google for their ads).

Who knows how they plan to differentiate from others in the space or maybe they're banking on branding. 🤷‍♂️

Interesting that they chose to enter a pretty crowded space (Glean, Hebbia etc. seem to be doing the same thing)

Just make sure to read the terms of service. What info are they ripping from your files, who are they sharing it with, and perhaps most important who owns what?

Did you ever use Command E (https://rize.io/blog/command-e-your-everything-search? It was such a perfect tool (Dropbox acquired, haven't used it since). Instant search, locally synced your GDrive, Github, everything. All queries were to a local index. Super fast, super useful.
