I've never been one to build toy/side projects

I write ideas down, work through them in my head and do research but rarely actually build them

I focus my building time and most of my energy on my work projects
(My contract makes it harder to build side stuff anyway)

Any tips on how to get into building on the side?

I actually did build one side project in the past: A Tumblr MacOS client called PostWarden.

I started building it when I quit my job in Germany (had to give 3 months notice) and continued built it in between jobs.

I launched it in the Mac App Store for a few months. It became the top social app before I took it down
