The Meta AR glasses are cool until you find out that they are $10K and you can't buy them.

Say what you want about the Vision Pro (they 100% botched Day 1 content and getting developers to build), it's $3K and available for sale. Expect v2 and v3 to get cheaper and lighter.

You're not going to beat Apple by shipping cool concept videos with journalists.

Apple Vision Pro and Meta AR are on different product categories.

Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3 are on the same product category.
Snap AR and Meta AR are on the same product category.

I suspect Apple has been working on Apple AR, nothing external yet.

If Apple Watch is the comp, then they will just wait until the tech is there and win.

I'm curious to see whether we're still in a world where Apple will win regardless of hardware category. Maybe we are.

Hope they learn from Vision Pro and Apple Watch (which took them a while to get right).
