I’ve used many many languages into production over the years, and I still can’t work out if JavaScript is an abomination to teams and maintenance like Perl and PHP, or it’s genius and should be everywhere?

… PS I know it’s already everywhere by mistake, but let’s focus :o)

I’ve used gwt extensively and dart (not flutter) because strong typed interfaces are needed in large scale dev. But then in a world of saas mashups you end up with over engineered models and frameworks - maybe just good JS glue is the way to go now. Most teams don’t “engineer” anymore. Focus on tight mash…?
