over the past couple of days there's been a new element on farcaster that we haven't seen much before: a project attacking another project and its founders to try to bolster its own position i want to be really clear: 1. I will defend Moxie and our team and our track record as serious builders forever and forever with vigor 2. No one needs to tear anyone else down to build yourself up. It may produce near term gains but it wont win in the long term 3. As we've said from day 0, our ambition with Moxie is to be the financial layer of Farcaster in a positive-sum way that enables everyone to win together. We will not rest and we will not waver on that mission.

1. an anon account that nastily attacks me regularly, "betacuck" creates a meme coin to attack moxie 2. my first reaction was definitely: i'd be cautious to trust that guy. that's not a parody account, it's a nasty attack account 3. my responsibility is to the moxie community who were asking us, what is this? is this official moxie? 4. everyone should stay safe out there

1) Betacuck is just a meme account don't take it so seriously. 2) you didn't say be cautious, you suggested he could rug you at any time (irresponsible when you could just say DYOR) 3) Then just say its not official Moxie and leave it at that. 4) Stay safe not stay manipulated. You and a group of the high Moxie earners were spreading misinformation. See number 3, you have a responsibility to either remain impartial, or just say nothing about it, or say DYOR.

there's a reason why @randomerror.eth has 9k followers and @betacuck has 280 one is funny the other is a personal attack also 'could rug you at any time' is a synonym of stay safe / be alert / dyor / nfa 'will rug you at some point' would be a threat

purp idk why you're also taking rug in it's LITERAL term, it's just cope cos there's literally no other point you have to leverage an argument from LP locked cool - plenty of other ways to be 'soft rugged' (adding the word soft cos that's what you guys are so you can relate better)

i forget that memecoins operate on the utmost positive morals and values and everybody is a winner memecoins are literally just a game of musical chairs - don't be left standing when the music stops - the real clutching at straws is thinking that 'hopes and memes' can be classed an an investing fundamental lmao but let's presume for sake of argument that he did say it with malicious intent - what's the scoreboard saying for maxi fudding moxie vs moxie fudding maxi? i imagine maxi leads by quite a large margin as that seems to be one of the core principles to pumping the bag i only see one group with egg on their face

There is only one group with egg on their face. And unfortunately it contains a lot of people I respect in it (yourself included) Memecoins are volatile by design of course. But it is a level playing field. Maxi was founded on basecamp with locked liquidity and everyone had more or less a fair chance of getting involved at the start. Moxie was sold to VCs before us poor souls even received our airdrops. Look at the first day of the Moxie chart, people bought into that absolute deathly red candle at launch. It was on CEX before DEX. Bear that in mind.

never mistake a parrot for a prophet eh >memecoins are volatile by design anything can be volatile by design if it has low liq >it is a level playing field have u seen all the memecoin cabals exposed? puh-lease open your eyes instead of just spouting the narrative moxie didn't nail the launch but i imagine you didn't buy or sell anything on launch so it didn't affect you in the slightest, why does it upset you? remind me 30 days from now how u feel about maxi, i'll wait - it might not even take that long tbh
