I still don’t really understand channels.

Should I default to using one? Only if it’s super relevant? 

Is it a way to reach new people? Or to narrow who among your audience it hits?

questions like this make me think i should just sit down and write a "how to use farcaster" guide 

it's not obvious, and there's a lot of info, but it's straightforward to play the game here and i think people would benefit

for your audience and the channel audience.

if you feel you have enough then you don’t need to cast in channels
