i don’t want another pandemic that will lead to a lockdown but it just might happen. maybe not this year, maybe next year

Yes i agree Betteridge's law of headlines is a good rule.

but we have to consider human recklessness, even during covid, people were still reckless and didn't oblige with the rules.

i won't be surprised if monkeypox turns into a pandemic, it will get solved faster than covid because we're more prepared for it.

the early warnings were there with covid for months before media was asking "is this a pandemic?", but most ignored them. monkeypox is well understood, has a higher barrier to transmission, and already has a vaccine, not to mention is very visible.

generally with headlines in the form of questions, Betteridge's law of headlines is a good rule
