got a garmin to try and after 2-weeks can confirm: 1. nothing beats apple watch when it comes to accuracy across hr and sleep (while compared to medical grade devices). 2. garmin better at gps and battery. 3. for weightlifting, just use a chest strap eg polar h10.

For running, polar is also more accurate. I've had issues with both Apple + Garmin and sweat.

yes polar wins always b/c how it works. thats why i got garmin to integrate but outside workouts where i dint wear polar, garmin wasn't way to off
