How is the flavor? I've been doing Ladder vegan protein (mostly pea, used to also have pumpkin but not any more) for years.

By itself, flavor is tolerable. 
Texture is pleasurably smooth as it mixes well.

I need to try! It does not seem to have NSF Sport certification, right?

It's an expensive certification to get and renew. If they have it, it will be prominently shown on the packaging (like Ladder).
