Why would someone trust DeepSeek with questions and search queries if we can't trust TikTok? It's cool that they were able to get such a model built in a more affordable way but unless it's significantly better than alternatives, why would anyone use it?

As for the app, I'm not sure. I'm on free tier on ChatGPT but it looks like for power users, the price diff makes a lot of sense. Like bespoke craft denim from a boutique vs fast fashion jeans at a fraction of the price. People vote with their wallets!
