i think people prefer native ios apps over "add to home screen" pwa apps

I agree, but dealing with Apple + Crypto is a nightmare.

campsite.co is apparently really good, haven’t been able to try it though

People do, but PWAifying our site took 2 days, 3 with testing vs. 2-3mo to build out a native version

Hard to argue against starting w/ PWA if you're running a lean team where mobile isn't a core part of the strategy
