chatgpt has helped me a lot with this, it identified my soft and hard skills, and then i just adjusted what really was correct and related to the position

I'd say it's not about buffing it up, but trying to give it that 'proud dad' vibe. Reading it out loud helps a ton on finding the sentiment you're looking for - at least for me.
