Get your 401k match, build your 3-6month emergency fund, then max out IRA. Anything else is gravy

Every major brokerage will have a Roth IRA 101 > https://www.fidelity.com/viewpoints/retirement/ira-portfolio Reading a few of these will get you in a good place to ask the right questions.

It's all just guessing what would be most tax efficient in this case. Roth vs Traditional, I prefer Roth but it depends on your income level. Really at the end of the day it's all about just saving and getting it invested somewhere.
