A couple of the channels expand out with their own clients and bring in new people specifically for that niche.

Well there are 150M for marketing right? in the next 2 years that should bring a lot of people if the devs are able to make this place a social media and not a group chat...

Creators and communities. Sales pitch to creators is easier direct financial support w/o middlemen. For communities they can always have custom clients built on top.

I think makerspaces is one way to transition from crypto-specific devs to general developership. tech is amazing for people working together, and people working together is a great apparatus for farcaster in the generic sense. in terms of farcaster as a capital-gathering MMO, I'm beating the "scavenger game" drum. there needs to be something longer-tail than meetups for IRL activity to percolate through farcaster downstream to main pages like twitter. there needs to be a meme that trojan-horses its ability to parse IRL data as an eventual parent to casts. FIDs can be *any recurring abstract expression* imagine supper clubs that compress the convo & vibes down to a synopsis cast every week. imagine educational curriculum that operates parallel to roles protocols & moderated farcaster. many such cases. one can debate whether we need to onboard people that are passionate but not about us or our values. I do think there is a tree of valid disciplines, any of which can be emergent in practice.

I don’t think it does expand much outside of the non crypto space. The goal is to onboard the rest of crypto and then with that userbase expand outward further. It’s a strategy that makes sense to me.

It’s highly unlikely Warpcast will draw in a non-crypto crowd. Those people already have social media they’re content with, platforms that will also steadily grow, and this platform isn’t offering anything that competes with that (offering quite less, actually)
