One misconception I see about spam labeling: "I'm a real human. I'm not a bot." Claiming "I'm not a bot" doesn't change the quality of your content. If you're farming replies and not being thoughtful, that's spam. And saying "Oh, I was just hoping to make some money, I'll do better in the future" doesn't work. Because every spammer will say the same thing. It's not hard to not be spammy. Just cast a little less, be a little more thoughtful.

it's interesting to me that the line between human / spam / bot is getting so fuzzy farcaster has come a long way from wowow to where it is today irt spam for me, from friendlies small spam-like replies are a nice thing, but when it's just from the crowd it feels completely different in the crowd context, it's necessary today to not sound like a bot else risk the classification i think it's hard tho for a lot of people because in many on social situations spammy replies is allowed, but in the parasocial context it's tiresome so besides the bots, the farmers, there is also the parasocial element imho
