the purpose of introducing candidate props was to give proposers the ability to gather community feedback before going live. it's unlikely you'll get anything timely unless you've struck a nerve... otoh wand.wtf will always get back to you within 24 hours, so make sure you check there for signal

honestly somewhat true -- feels like candidates rarely get feedback unless proposers seek it out. No incentive to give feedback though. Any ideas here? Wave is idea constrained -- I think creating some way to incentivize better feedback if you post through wave could help

my biased answer (obv wand) is this can be solved with automation. take advantage of the energy spent on governance. make nouns feel less like work and more like social

To make more social you mean we ditch governance, let ai do it, and focus energy on actually being social in other ways?

all our attempts at social (signals, candidates) are valuable for the gov process but are hard to stick because they are busy work. and there is no incentive to do it (so doubly bad) why spend money getting people to participate in all this stuff if it won’t be sustainable? what people will do (to a degree) is vote (and only sometimes, but it comes with social capital so worth it) ai if done tastefully can make everything feel alive and more social
