wonder if anyone would choose to be compensated by stream anymore? (i'm not sure if i would, #766 is a huge risk). first, when asking for grants a stream puts a brake pedal on the ability to take advantage of any momentum or experiment rapidly. second, highly social ecosystems can lead to times of mob behavior. making it hard to figure out the truth. thankfully the chain is the source of truth here so some objective conclusions can be made, but it won't always be the case. i hope nouns will find a middle ground

One other con is that if you price in anything besides USDC then you face market fluctuations I have an OP grant that is still locked that is -80% its original value bc it had to be locked for a year. It’s hard to plan how to pay contractors helping on the project when you might end up being in the red after being forced to hold the token for a full year

Thanks @0xsatori, a few responses @wiz 1) Escrow only works with arbitration, do you think @kleros is good enough for this? 2) How would you measure progress? Updates are widely accepted 3) Shouldn't be a problem when the work is equivalent. @frog OP doesn't escrow, funds are just withheld and I question this too. Milestones & escrow should address the trust and lock issue. Why do milestones whithout timely release?
