This story is false — there is a non-Haitian woman with mental illness who was arrested for animal abuse, but it went viral as an anti-immigrant story promoted by prominent individuals such as these.

People don’t have to be mentally ill to fall into conspiracy holes. I read something about a study that found they’re usually sane and of above average intelligence. The key is narcissism. Narcissists fall for conspiracies because it makes them feel like they have special knowledge. But with Elno, I think he’s just a jerk courting the far right’s adoration.
