Are there any projects out there trying to authenticate used brand or vintage products and attach NFT verification?

Aware Stock X tried this and got sued by Nike. Did the court case make other attempts tricky?

Authentication was quick, taking photos were pretty easy with given guides. Yes it's on polygon, i believe it's stored in their wallet.

How is it they link the authentication to you if not by sending you the nft?

It's tethered to the authentication case under the account that's made in their app

I was curious about the service, so I tried it on a pair I have. There are other users who use it to authenticate when they buy/sell, you can see a lot of chatters about it in their discord channel. Right now, I think the only tying proof would only work when it's a face to face transaction.

Makes sense. You do yours to authenticate the sneaks you already had or when you were looking to buy them? What’s the way to proof the pair someone’s selling are the ones tied to that authentication?
