Congrats on this milestone! 🎉 I was wondering how the job market is looking like in the Web3 sector (and also specifically for Product/UX Design). Have you noticed any upticks in roles amidst the continuing trend of mass layoffs? What’s your forecast for the future? Is there any sign of reprieve?

TLDR i think rates are going to get cut in early spring and all markets will go bonkers. rn everyone is just finishing their 2024 planning they didnt do in 2023 and are just now starting to actively post and hire. by march/april the market should be abundant imho.

That’s wonderful news; thanks for your insight! Has Web3 seen layoffs too and in a similar vein as layoffs that have happened in more traditional Web2 companies? From my understanding, many Web3 companies are startups and I’m curious to know if they are participating in & can withstand this mass layoff phenomenon.

all the layoffs in crypto happened ~4-8 months ago imho. a lot of company shutdowns too. rn it seems like the layoffs happening in web2 are for bloated SaaS companies
