Depends on usage:
- Chatgpt is my go to for most things. I have been using deep research a lot which is the main reason to use it.
- Perplexity replaced google for me. I also like their UI. 
- I use Claude for coding and writing (haven't tried Claude Code yet).
- I use Grok to explain tweets. Started using their Deep Search feature but haven't tested it enough. It's cool that it doesn't seem to have any limits on content (except negative things about trump and elon).
- I use Replit to create mini apps for personal use. Development is fast, no writing code, results arent great but they work and are cheap.

Ideally would want to cutback and only use 1-2 but wanted to give them all a try.

How would you rank them in terms of usefulness?

Interested in ZK, FHE, PUFs, hardware, system design, ai safety, and smart contact security.

Only when I don't have internet connection. I want to get a beefier laptop to use the bigger models locally more often.

How do you interact with the API? Custom scripts? Plug it into your IDE?

I just pay for API use. It's a lot more cost efficient. Currently just deepseek and Claude
