Same. I’ve been going back to Haskell for some stuff though since its like rust without the borrow checker. Others have been picking up OCaml for the same reason.

Tricks with polynomials and Riemann-Roch spaces. Breaking into the platonic realm to pillage forbidden abstractions. Starknet grantee.

same clone and unwrap and refactor later but it’s still more typing. I’ve become too reliant on the type system lol. Also have some PTSD with python from working on ML but the experience has actually gotten much better with things like uv and optional typing.

Tbh I'll just start cloning stuff if the borrow checker gets in the way and do Python if I don't need a type system
