I’ll definitely learn other languages in the next 1-2 decades for fun, but I fully expect Rust to be my daily driver in this period

Same. I’ve been going back to Haskell for some stuff though since its like rust without the borrow checker. Others have been picking up OCaml for the same reason.

Now that I think about it I didn't really have one. Did a mix of JS/Python/Scala in the years before I started using Rust full time
