Some years ago I decided to visit far, "difficult" or dangerous countries while I have no children. Safe Europe and nice "beach" countries I can visit with kids, when I have them. So my first country was Iceland. We made 2000 km around an island by car, stayed in campings and cooked on the fire. It was unforgettable.

My beloved "Notre-Dame Cathedral" I vividly remember the awe I felt when I saw it up close during my one trip to France🇫🇷 Although it was devastated by the fire a few years ago..., every time I look at this photo, I feel grateful for the chance I had to capture this moment.

You never know what you’ll find when you travel. On a trip away with my family I met a man hanging out with his birds by the side of the road. They were happy to just hang out next to him while he drank his coffee. This little guy was super friendly and clearly curious about my phone 😁

Traveling is a total luxury. I worked really hard to be able to live out my nomadic spirit during a period in my life, when I wasn’t tied to family responsibilities. I did an adventure small group tour across the wild South Island of New Zealand a while back, and it was one of the most amazing experiences I could have ever hoped for. The group consisted of 8 people from across the globe, so there was a lot of cultural exchange going on during long hikes :-)
