FINALLY. WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS. Farcaster finally fixed the snapshot URL, and the tip system is gradually getting back to normal. Obviously, tomorrow the allowances won’t reset—they’ll be added to this week’s. That way, you’ll have time to catch up! You know we’re doing our best to keep things running, but unfortunately, we’re at the mercy of the network’s condition. We make do with what we have. Thanks fam 🫶

The tip system is down. The snapshot URL is unavailable, so hubs cannot be started. https://download.farcaster.xyz/snapshots/MAINNET/DB_SCHEMA_11/latest.json Hopefully this will be resolved soon. Sorry fam, Merry Christmas anyway 🎭

Hey fam! Farcaster's hubs have been pretty unstable this week, which has caused delays in syncing your tip casts. I’m gonna push the Monday reset back a few hours (like between 2-4, I think) so I have time to sync them "manually" (not literally "by hand ofc", spare you the dev stuff) Just a little more patience

GUYZ GUYZ! IT'S RESET TIME! (Please read below) Weekly allowances have been reset. This week, 1 tip = 2500 $MASKS As you can see, we've introduced a form of halving in the weekly allowances. As you can see, the $MASKS token has suffered quite a bit from global market conditions, as well as from meta depletion, like the other tipable tokens on Farcaster. With the aim to improving tokenomics, the team will diversify its airdrop strategy, and no longer focus solely on “social farming” (let's call a spade a spade). But don't worry. We won't abandon weekly airdrop system here. Never. We're still a social token. Always. We'll respect our whitepaper. Of course.
