I feel that. I listened to all of Stormlight on Audible, and I didn't start caring about the story or the characters until about halfway through The Way of Kings. Once you make it through the first half, though, you'll fly through the rest of the series. You have an internet stranger's word that it'll be worth it.

Definitely not a quick or casual read - I've been reading it for like three years tbh. There's ~100 pages of appendices, footnotes that span multiple pages, footnotes that redirect you to chapters, sideways/upside-down text. Reading for extended periods of time can drive you a little crazy. My copy is full of post-its.

Fellow allomancer, here! I don't think there's a Cosmere channel yet, but I imagine it's inevitable. Might be too niche for now. I've read a decent amount of Sanderson and similar fantasy, so I've been on the lookout for a SciFi/Fantasy channel. I'm still not quite sure how to earn enough warps to create one.

I do this for my partner all the time. Spent weeks optimizing her Sisay deck + a few others. Now I get jealous when she stomps me with them. 🫠 We share our collection tho, so I can test drive em whenever. My advice? Cook up some spicy mole god shenanigans in your Cauldron to warm your belly and ease the pain. 😈

Same! My play group is super stoked on Thunder Junction, but I'm just not feeling it tbh. Slapping cowboy hats on random characters seems like a silly novelty. I love all things spooky so Duskmourn tops my list, but Bloomburrow is a close second. Excited to return to Lorwyn/Shadowmoor next year, too.
