My wife and I are finally getting our first house next month! (We’re elder Millennials, ell oh ell.) The house itself has a modest square footage, but it’s got a generous fenced-in backyard, a big shed, and prime agricultural soil. Got big plans for a fruit/veg/herb garden there. I went for a run recently for the first time in a while. It rained midway through, and right before I got back to my house, a rainbow appeared. It felt like a reminder that 'this too shall pass', which is exactly what I needed. 🌈

My children. My three grown children bring great joy and happiness to my life. Not sure how I would’ve survived this life without them. My four granddaughters, one grandson who gave me one great-granddaughter. Beautiful stars each and every one of them. I am blessed.

My mom's a baker in Venezuela, and she's been struggling lately because her mixer broke down. She had to make cakes by hand, which was tough. I thought I was going to lose my dog who's 12 years old and had a seizure last Wedensday morning. Rushed her to the emergency vet, she survived surgery to remove a big cancerous growth on her liver. Brought her back home 2 days later and she's recovering. It's been stressful, but I'm so glad to have more time with her!
