learning that people can’t imagine how things look or don’t have an internal monologue is like discovering a new species. literally wtf how do you live like this

Can you imagine touching something in your imagination? Do your imaginations have sounds of their own? What about zooming in or out?

My dad is an artist and it's like he has a tv in his head that he can conjure anything on. My imagination is mostly colorless. 

I want to meet someone who is a 1 but for smells. I haven't heard anyone talk much about the other senses. It's always visualizing and inner monologue.

I pretty much never remember dreams but for the few I do: don't remember any touches. I do remember things that were said but can't recall the sound, just the words of the sentence. I remember settings but no visuals e.g. I will remember "we were in a tent" but no visual will pop up for the tent or the people. Don't remember any zoom in or outs, never thought about that before lol 

generally for any sense (visual, audio, touch, smell, etc.), I can recall existing things but not imagine new things with that sense. Imagination is word / setting based where I can understand what it is but not imagine the actual sense itself

only realizing all of this as part of this thread, never thought about this before. Assumed everyone was like this lol
