if anyone is curious, I've been sticking to 39/40 cause they're (1) cushion-y (0 injuries so far), (2) pretty durable (consistently lasts 500+ miles), (3) pretty "cheap" for nike (can usually find ugly colors for <$80) (4) idk lmao they feel good so why change, don't want to risk injury
