Increasingly, I don’t think web3 is the next iteration of the web that will replace web2, but rather a fork that will run in parallel.

Not a strong opinion yet but something I can’t shake. 

Also not sure how I feel about it if true.

Thoughts?

I'm of the opinion that Web1, Web2, Web3 is just a way of riding on existing mental models, modalities, and memes so people that are most ready to adopt web3's applications are primed
