Farcaster Saturday Nights (my /firstdraft )

You can tell a lot about a group by how they spend their downtime. Dinner around the table w/ wine. Pizza & game night. Or strewn about the living room talking about life, someone picks up a guitar, whatever goes. 

Farcaster Saturday nights reveal a lot about us as a community. @eriks celebrated the 'next-level randomness of the saturday night purple app.' Satruday nights on FC are like the strewn about, whatever goes IRL gathering. It says how comfortable we are together & how we enjoy sharing whatever hits us. There are no awkward silences. 

Take last night: Thoughtful posts from @abundance on degen & @betashop.eth on Moxie. @wellzy reaching out on behalf of ham. We got memes, vibes, & memories including NBA 96 from @ccarella.eth & learned that @christopher is a Tar Heel. 2 subtle AMAs from @dwr.eth & his first ITAP. And 50 others I can't remember...

I enjoy the randomness of FC Saturday night b/c of what it says about us--it's a FC Network State casual hang.

To break trough the sunflowers, Bodhilama has to write affirmations, reflect and integrate. While flicking through his journal, he remembers where his journey started and who he met on his way. Sometimes it is good to take a break, sit down and reflect. The brain needs that.

Skin in the Game

Skin, in regard to “the game”, is not money. If skin is money, the game cannot be played.   

A monetary stake is a distraction - a false positive. Betting on an outcome, as opposed to participating in the process, makes you a gambler, or to some, an investor - but are you truly invested? 

Money talks, talk is cheap. Donate your money, shed your clothes, show some skin. You are now playing the game. An active participant, released from the role of well intentioned critic - no choice but to shape the present into a favorable future. The game was always intended to be played.
