too many thoughts from nouns town LA the past week… working on an essay titled “nouns is a subculture superbrand” but wanted to get some early thoughts out now there’s something really special happening here where all these subcultures (esports, animation, skateboarding, breakdancing, toy making, indie music, specialty coffee, etc) are melding together into a larger whole a shared economic force and community identity a world where nouns wins is a world where subcultures thrive. where subcultures can find funding to survive. where subcultures can fend off the dullness of corporate capture. where fans of subcultures can have more sovereignty over their fandom ⌐◧-◧ in this world becomes a symbol of supporting subcultures. celebrating subcultures. the things that make life beautiful and worth living. the things humans will still be doing and obsessing about even in a AI-powered post-scarcity world (continued)

I am noticing that the most successful new ideologies of the past decade are very object-level (prescriptions on specific issues) and quite little meta-level (social processes for making decisions on object-level issues). Examples: * Abstract libertarianism feels much weaker than 10 years ago. But issue-specific versions of it are quite successful: YIMBY (housing), the crypto space * e/acc (it's about all technology in theory, but ends up being about AI in practice) * The largest cluster in effective altruism morphed from being meta-level ("think harder to making sure your donations are going where they can do the most good!") to object level (AI safety, with a little bit of animal welfare and global public health) * Longevity movement Maybe network states and Glen and Audrey's Plurality movement are two exceptions - but in general the above feels like a strong pattern. Any ideas why this meta level -> object level shift seems to be taking place?

Serenity 🙏 This is the magic key in new energies. When we swing the pendulum of negative energies, we end up with a negative version. The world around us always helps us in our affairs, if only we are moving towards creation. But if we are nervous, striving to do everything only according to our plan, we lose. More often than not, our mistake is in preparedness. Events unfold as we are ready. Whether the right moment has come, whether there are people ready for the new. We, on the other hand, see the goal in our minds and want to realize it the way we want it. We do not give the space an opportunity to help us, so we end up losing. It is important to realize that acting on our own, without cooperation with our Higher Self, we always lose. The key to solving our problems is Serenity.

The path of the heart ❤️ Let me start by saying that each of us is unique and each of us has our own path on Earth. Many people say that you have to fight all your life, and happiness is not added. This is really true if you live using only human logic. In fact, the Higher Self has only one goal, to lead you to the path of love and joy, but it has no levers to influence our earthly consciousness. The path of the heart is the path of the Higher Self. Logic says, behold, you should do this and that, but the heart suggests the illogical. Our mind denies this illogical action, it uses proven schemes. Believe me, your Higher Self knows better which way is right and which way is wrong. You look at your neighbor who got rich and do everything the same way, but you still count pennies. It's just not your unique way. Fishermen know a miracle. When someone gets lucky and leaves a spot, the fish stop pecking. It's about the way of the heart.

A paradise of our own There is a deep-seated feeling in us that to be enlightened or spiritual is to live in a cave in the mountains or to be a hermit. These are Ego-inspired concepts that move us away from the pursuit of being happy. Your Higher Self is made up of unconditional love, and it does not seek to torture its earthly part. Many people still believe that you should give all your energies to work, to other people. This is wrong, though in the spirit of the old destructive energies. When we give away our energies, we deprive ourselves of opportunities to do good. Living for yourself is not selfishness, as we have been brought up to believe. It is important to realize that we are all free and equal. Allow others to live their lives and yourself to live yours. You have to learn to say "No" when you want to say "No". Build your own paradise, live your own life, not someone else's. We are born to be ourselves. To live your own life is to solve your own lessons, not to let others cheat you.

A moment Our life is a moment. We have already lived our lives, even though it seems otherwise to us. We are eternal by nature and therefore the value of a moment of life is indescribable. Imagine the pictures of life floating past you. This is what the world looks like through the eyes of Spirit. I have previously compared this to a movie theater and a movie where we are the audience and the main actors. When we are observers, we can notice things that are not available when we are immersed in reality. When we miss the moment, immersed in our inner thoughts, we lose our moment of life. Let life in, for it is but a moment in eternity, but has tremendous value in Spirit. Live with your eyes open.

Observer We are most often immersed in problems, thereby being in resonance with the pendulum of dissonant energies. However, it is more correct to remain neutral towards it. In order that low-frequency energies do not intensify, they need to be grounded in a literal sense. Remove yourself from your own emotions for a while and ask the Earth to accept and transform the energies.
