It feels like the tipping mechanics are too PvP right now. We want your suggestions on making them more positive-sum. Banning users for bad behavior hasn’t worked, so how can we tweak the tipping mechanics to encourage positive interactions instead? Share your ideas! @cadillion

I know there are different types of farmers, but by looking at some of the farmer accounts that are doing extremely "well" this season, 1. They were NOT successful in Season 5 while they were somewhat active till Season 4. The S5 mechanism has some things to learn from. 2. Banning in previous seasons didn't work because they could just start a new account. However, in this season there is a fund lock. The S6 mechanism lowered the bar for some farmers. I vote for at least further integrating other signals such as social scores.

Just a clarification that I'm not necessarily pro-ban. I am for not ruling out bans instead of saying there would be no bans.

I have the feeling OpenRank tweaked their algo mid-season during S5, and farmers started doing bad (thankfully). Makes sense to assign more allo to OpenRank besides the 10% originally set aside for that in S6. At least part of the daily 5MM that are currently just not being assigned at all (!) could go to OpenRank.

Point 2 is a good deterrent. Old account (banned) funds locked. New account will require new lock, forcing them to potentially buy more, diluting allowance as a result. They’ll be taking a hit twice. If lock could also be permanently frozen - no chance of ever pulling out… Possibly too harsh. 200 $DEGEN
