after 24h in tokyo the biggest thing i have noticed is just how QUIET everything is compared to NYC there are a gazillion people around – but its so quiet! so nice in NYC i can always hear a helicopter, music in the distance, someone yelling lol

well yeah those are two massive opposite cultural places to be haha, but I wonder if the smell is different too? something not everyone talks about
