1 week in and here’s my take on Farcaster so far: → Feels like a speakeasy where the real ones are already vibing and already know how to FRAME their words 🤫 (I’d seriously love to really get the hang of frames though so please send tips! Like should I be framing this cast?) → Everyone knows something I don’t (yet) like I think I have my /amps on now, but do I? 🤷🏽♀️ (like for real, can someone let me know? haha) → No engagement farming, just actual thoughtful convos - this is what I love about the early days of any app, community, platform - the genuine, willingness to connect 💞 Been lurking, but I think I’m starting to get it. Thanks @ted for the intro! Getting to actually engage with other humans is helping me learn the ropes and make friends :) Also, is there a secret handshake I missed? 🤝👀

for frames: 1. for fun social experiences, check out the aura frame by @robin and team or any frames by @jc4p and @keccers.eth! 2. for games, @farcade is fun with lots of familiar options. also like @framedl (like wordle) and balloon by @ok. so glad you are here!! keep the questions and feedback coming.

Here are my 2 tips: - replying to other people's casts is how you make friends and get to know specific people - quote casting stuff is how you bring a conversation into another channel and drive activity to your profile so people get to know you People are quote-cast obsessed right now because of the rewards systems that are currently incentivizing the behavior. So much so that you can now get directly paid to quote cast stuff to spread it to your audience (amps) 😰 I wouldn't focus too heavily on that, this place is wild with experimentation and fads change quick! But it's fun to play along! All the frames stuff is just mini-apps to play with. You'll catch on quick. Have fun, but don't forget that the real magic happens in the conversations with people!

hey felice! frames are lil apps that run right inside warpcast. you can press the frames button in the bottom nav (see screenshot) and then click explore to see what’s out there. I like using @buoy as an advanced search for casts but there’s a million more like @ampsfun as you mentioned. and yes I see you on amps! just paid you for a recast as a demo :~) you should now see 3 USDC in your warpcast wallet aka warplet
