bit of everything over the years. I like painting faces, eyes especially.

Hyperrealistic paintings are not my cup of tea, but I agree that able to make paintings like that needs another level of talent

Yesss, and also, styles and tastes are different, and it is so normal .

It may be like a math rule: you can't add bananas with apples.

I stopped measuring talent a long time ago. Different talents, different styles. When I was younger, hyperrealism was the best and most correct style.

I got old and my appreciation changed. Detail matters less than evocation imo.

Love both. Can't do either well ❤️‍🩹
