Just Build

We all build our lives shaped by internal and external factors, facing challenges along the way. For me, one of the most significant driving forces has been and continues to be the exposure to suffering—seeing it around me, experiencing it, and deeply contemplating it. 

When I ‘killed’ my fairly successful commercial photography business in 2017 and took a bold leap into pursuing what I felt called to do, it was the human experience of suffering that I wanted to dedicate my time and work to. My aim isn’t to bluntly photograph endless scenes of struggle; rather, I seek to understand the deeper spiritual meaning behind suffering. I want to explore how it affects people differently and, most importantly, to uncover the gifts and messages it holds.
