my dad sent me a video of buffet saying "what would i do with bitcoin? one of you has to buy it" here's what i sent back to dad: thats a fair point and i like it – although assuming our lives continue to be "mixed reality" between web and IRL, imo it's a good bet on digital. also a government-less, code-based currency is great. buffet is not the target user of bitcoin, people in countries with extreme hyperinflation are - like argentina and others. just substitute bitcoin for dollars lol same thing - it is just seashells again, choose the seashell you want to assign value to. collective hallucination of money

Exactly! At the end of the day, money is just the seashell we all agree to believe in. Whether it's Bitcoin, dollars, or literal seashells, the value comes from the collective trust behind it. The real question is: which seashell will future generations believe in the most?
