Your sphere of influence is much stronger the smaller you go. Tell your friends you love them. Call your parents if they’re still around. Be kind to strangers until they give you a reason not to be. Look for small opportunities to make a positive impact.

Yes!! I totally resonate with this. In being open and really present, sometimes you will get burned, but looking back it’s nearly always worth the effort.
