Visited a bookstore today and had this feeling of having walked miles away from some of the greats of modern fiction, especially international (non-Japanese) authors such as Pamuk, Zadie Smith, Hosseini, Franzen, Vuong, Roy over the past few years. Is it possible as time passes, and less people read, we only read the classics and forget this middle?

People don’t read book now. Learning definitions has changed . Digital book with AI , audio version has changed too. No doubt I see lots of people with high intellectual capacity. Paper book reading for three hours what one learn or grasp vs same time 3 hrs learning from digital books, AI support , audio one can learn more content . New learning model no doubt gives higher efficiency than past . Fast learning now is the keys . I do buy book still but use more Audiobooks during travel to walking and can use time more efficiently. I learn more during walking running traveling, driving. Digital library gives us more access to more content. I guess time travel faster than we can imagine πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
