Why would someone trust DeepSeek with questions and search queries if we can't trust TikTok? It's cool that they were able to get such a model built in a more affordable way but unless it's significantly better than alternatives, why would anyone use it?

Unless DeepSeek can offer transparency, data privacy, and a clear edge over existing alternatives, it’ll be tough to convince users. Building an affordable model is impressive, but trust and performance will always be the ultimate deal-breakers."
