Thanks for making my first week co-hosting the /books channel a welcoming one! So far, I’ve mostly been watching and thinking. 

I’m curious—this channel is already pretty great for book recommendations. What other bookish things would we like to happen here?

Another thing: book clubs are an obvious thing for book-related groups of people. But lots of book clubs I’ve been in aren’t that great. 

Are there uniquely farcaster ways to do book clubs?

Book clubs could be hosted directly on FC by pinning the current book’s details as well as the current chapter and letting the conversation flow organically in the comments. The books could be chosen through a frame poll.

Moving the discussion to Discord or somewhere else would be a bad move imo.
