You could argue that mastery of nature is also mastery of ourselves

I think it depends on your definition of mastery. For example, I dont think an energy company exec would define mastery that way. I don’t want to put words into Jason’s mouth but I’m not sure that’s what he meant either. In my opinion the difference can be summarized by the question, knowledge or power?
