Strongly disagree. This is precisely the ethos that led humanity to the precipice on which it currently stands. “Mastery over nature” has always been and will always be illusory, futile and ultimately self-defeating, and furthermore selects for benefits to accrue to small groups of douchebags. What is needed is more interconnection, solidarity and relationality with each other and with nature, not less.
