Just started a company in the zkTLS space. Am super bullish on alot of use cases. The most romantic of which are vampire attacks. My definition of a VA doesn’t require a token incentive, can just be a better product for users. Will add a few companies I think are ripe for a VA in comments.

2. Uber Uber takes a huge fee. So you can launch a web3 version that’s cheaper with higher earnings. I already have ZKPs for a driver profile working to inherit trust from Uber. The VA app should also use the Uber/Lyft api to search for rides so the user isn’t turned away while the web3 network is growing.

I think they get hype on the theory of it because Uber was a good exit for early investors but if you really look at the unit economics (and risks) it was more of a ZIRP phenomena than a good idea. So let’s not run it back onchain.

I definitely understand they pumped money into it at a loss to get people to do it full-time. Now though there are already people who do it full time. Uber is a public company, and at this point the only way they make money is by increasing fees for drivers. …

What I am envisioning doesn’t require the same level of capital since the market already exists. It’s more like moving the moving train over onto a different track. Where the drivers have more control.

Hmm I think I could be convinced bc you can also hit private drivers or limo companies with a cool GTM motion here. Okay I’m less bearish.

I get the moving the train over to a different track in context of Vampire Attack, and it could be pulled off, with those early drivers getting much upside. Point is until cars really change the unit economics only work with subsidies, stock, airdrops etc
